New ATC Monitors for Studio A

Just put in a new pair of ATC SCM45A Pro monitors for Studio A. They sound great! A little more bang than the Wetslakes and a clear punchy low end. We think they are a nice step up for this control room.

More verb!! Lexicon 480L and AKG BX5

We just picked up a couple of new vintage reverbs for Studio A. The Lexicon 480L is one of the most iconic digital reverbs ever made and the LARC remote controller is a familiar sight in many studios. It’s an incredibly flexible verb with all the classic Lexicon settings. Run mono in/stereo out it gives […]

Neumann SM2 Stereo Mic

John found a mint condition vintage Neumann SM2 stereo tube microphone. We’d been wanting to add a stereo mic for some time and this is one of the best options out there. We’re pretty sure this is going to be pretty amazing on piano, drum overheads, room mics and acoustic guitar. It’s probably going to […]

Eric Harland and Charlie Hunter tracking for The Loop Loft Studio B

Eric Harland and Charlie Hunter were in Studio B tracking for The Loop Loft. Super fun session with some sick grooves going down. Modern Drummer stopped by in the morning to take some pics and everyone was digging the Bunker vintage Ludwig kit.
